The club takes wings!

The first meeting of the Kids Who Bird club of Baton Rouge took place yesterday. We did the meet and greet, and then talked about the basics of the sport of birding. Everyone's homework assignment is to open an ebird.org account so they can start tracking their birds.

Our first field trip will be Sat, Nov 8 2008 to the Capitol Lakes here in Baton Rouge. We'll pick up some winter ducks and see what else we might find.

We're a small group, but that makes us nimble!
